The improvement in both my children’s skills and match abilities during this time was noticeable due to the consistently high level of coaching whilst remaining fun and the great opportunities we had to play against the best opposition at tournaments or in matches against established academies such as Crystal Palace. This was instrumental in my older son reaching a standard where he was offered trials at Brighton, Chelsea and Fulham. As a result, he signed with Fulham and remains a Fulham under 13 academy player. The thing which most impresses me is the number of ex PDA players we meet when playing other tier 1 London academies.
